Anyone know how to do it?

Wondering, too. But what I found is that a number can be assigned multiple times for a team. At one point I found Pascal Dupuis, Beau Bennett and another guy on the Pittsburgh Penguins wearing #9 - at least when I clicked on their player info screens. Don't know how it was in an actual match on the ice.

I donīt think, that you can change the jersey number in game. It can be changed by the researcher in the db editor, so itīs kind of hard coded. But ingame, when trades happen and a player with the same jersey number is added to the roster, only AI should be able to change one of these...

I would guess it will be added (if it's not there). It makes no big difference but it can make the "sense of reality" better.

Yeah, all the player numbering is handled automatically at the moment. We need to make that customizable, and also have to come up with a way of handling retired numbers (although I think I've thought of a method to do that.)

Retired numbers would be very cool.
