QMJHL Salary

Hey,

Another day, another question: I'm trying to trade for players but it keeps saying "Halifax Moosehead's can't add this much salary to their payroll", and I have to include players in the deal I don't want to part with to make the money work. How can I add more payroll money? I've released a goalie (everyone makes $3,000) but that didn't seem to help at all.

Thanks!

That's strange, in junior you shouldn't have any payroll issues. The players all just get a nominal salary that's so low that a team's budget will always be well above the $90,000 you could theoretically spend in total salaries. If you check the team's contracts screen, are any players listed with a salary that's not $0 or $3000?

maybe a contract was edited using comissionner mode to reflect real life contract but ''contracted to'' might have stayed assigned to the junior team instead of NHL team.

I'm just quick guessing here.

I just looked and everyone makes $3,000. It says at the bottom I spend a total of $69,000 on my whole team.

I've never been into commissioner mode either, so I've no clue if that has happened but I'm guessing not. I appreciate you spitballing though, I'm at a loss. Trying to make draft day trades is hard when you have to give a player away in every deal though! haha

Can you upload the save? I'd like to see why it's telling you that when your budget is much higher than the payroll.

It's uploaded, titled "EnglishJetMooseheadSeason". I uploaded last week but haven't really played it since, as I don't want to continue time without making some trades.
