2nd round draft pick disappears

Playing my first season. After the amateur draft I went to the page to negotiate the contracts for the players selected in the first 5 rounds. In the slot where my second round draft pick should have been there is a 17 yr old Venezulean player. On that page it says he was taken in Round 0 and his contract\bonus demand is $0. Clicking on that player it says he is on the Chicago White Sox (I am playing as the Colorado Rockies). How do I get my second round pick back?

Nevermind. I tried to follow the instructions in the thread above about submitting files but I followed the directions and there was nothing on my screens that were like what you said would be there in your directions. Of course having directions like "it will probably say" is a little ridiculous. I'll just pretend my 2nd row draft pick's plane crashed lol.

I'm guessing he potentially retired before you got to that page, and if you have the "delete players who never reach the majors" flag set, then we could recycle his ID for that Venezuelan prospect.

I am sure I did not check that box.

Having fun with it though I wish I had that SS 2nd pick back. The Venezuelan 3B guy was demanding $0 for a bonus. Being the big spender that I am--I offered him a $1 bonus and he signed lol. He shows no ratings when you click on him. He was sent to my Rookie League team. I put him in the line-up every fourth game for giggles. So far he is 4 for 8 with 4 doubles and still has no ratings.
