2013 Draft Picks?

Hi everyone,

I haven't played OOTP since the 2007 version and want to get back into it. I want to start with the present day Cubs and lead them to a World Series, I know, impossible right? My question is, are the 2013 Draft picks updated into the OOTP14 version or do I have to wait until OOTP15 comes out? I want to be able to have Cubs #1 draft pick Kris Bryant in the game, he's a friend of the family. Any assistance would be great.

He should be in the game, but since the quickstart begins with opening day 2013 rosters, he'll be introduced in the draft pool when it's generated. You can use commissioner mode to make sure he ends up on the Cubs after the draft takes place (if you're unable to draft him yourself).

Or, you can go here and download the rosters as of Sept. 1. The only difference is the game will still start at opening day. But all rosters will be accurate as of Sept. 1. Hope that makes sense.

There're something like 1500 draft eligible players in the updated roster Big17Easy linked. The default roster "only" has something like 800 draft eligible guys
