About To Buy The Game With Questions:

I am about to buy OOTP due to all I've seen on boards and read about it but have a few questions for the experts:
---Is the proccess of importing from the Lahman database simple---quick---I want every year from 1871-now?
---The Red Sox (the greatest team of all time) just completed a double steal, 1st and 3rd...can the game do this?
---Triple steal?
---Can I overshift against Big Papi...sending the SS to 2nd and the 2B to shallow right?
---I read a blog from an old version stating the sac bunt ratings were all the same for imported years...still true?
---About the ratings the game makes for imported players...are the ratings based on the actual stats or based on how that season compared to others?.....The "time machine" concept.....or "normalization".....will Yaz from 1968 league leading 301 avg compare to Nomars 372 in 2000 or will Yaz be condemned to a career of looking boring in the game?
I know I can customize but dont wanna customize every player who ever played.

2013 will not be in there, the rest imports at the start of the offseason
1st & 3rd steals is not possible
triple I don't believe is either
you can shift but not overshift
i'm guessing yes.
actual but you can also do neutralized.
Don't expect Yaz to hit .301 in 1968, he could hit .350 or .250 An older clone of Yaz has been good in my game. As far as how they compare, it depends on many factors.
