Baldwin Park

Here is another stadium that I threw together pretty quickly. I would assume it would have pretty standard dimensions. 330 in the corners, 375 for the alleys and 400 for center field.

I am still working on the 'mashup' stadium for San Diego and hope to have some others with 'quirky' dimensions available soon.

Here is where I am at with the San Diego stadium so far. I couldn't find a usable image of the Western Metal Supply building which would probably be the most identifiable aspect of a San Diego Park. A good skyline photo that would not place the park in the ocean was also difficult to find. (If I can find one - it is easy to replace)

The park has the right field corner of Petco with the rest of the field/wall dimensions coming from Jack Murphy; the outfield seats and scoreboard are from Qualcomm. I had shortened the extension of the upper deck hoping to fit in the Western Metal building. When the building didn't work out - I didn't wrap the upper deck around left field to allow a little bit more of the skyline view.

I would welcome any suggested changes you may have to give it more of a San Diego feel.

I like that park, blueturf. Maybe you find a picture of the Coronado Bridge and fit that in the background instead of the warehouse. That would be a good San Diego feel for the Stadium.

Hey Blueturf, I found this image with the Western Metal Bldg from the side, like it would be in your stadium. Can you work with this? Otherwise, the stadium looks great!

Very Nice! Looks Good!
You could hit a ball completely outta the park if you got a hold of one, and sent it over the Western Metal Bldg. Oh to see Mickey Mantle or Dave Kingman lauch one!

My new solo project includes a small independent league of eight teams that will play in indoor arenas or small outdoor venues. Here is the first of the stadiums that will be used in the league. .

Blue.....quick question about your solo league...

are these indoor fields/arenas small? what are the dimensions?
I always thought a indoor game using a softer ball like the incredi ball would be kinda cool......

with all of these great projects, I am surprised Blue or someone else hasn't done projects like these for all the real MLB ballparks

Yes they are smaller by approximately 50 feet, or more if the wall is higher. I have envisioned the softer ball as well. But league totals still would have more homeruns. I am hoping to see that a big power guy in the indoor league would have less than average power in the concurrent MLB league.

Teflon is the king and he did a couple of current stadiums a while back. Other than that, there are some CGI stadiums from Tony LaRussa and Old Time Baseball.

Not sure if anyone has use for these, but I created them for my league and figured I would put them out there. Here are two more stadiums from my fictional indoor league.

Excellent. I do have a use for these . One of the things I like to do with my fictional league is to have a completely different set of ballparks for each division... that way I get a "feel" for each division. I've used these last 3 of yours to help fill that division.

Thanks a lot!
