Game Freezes When Updating Fighter Information

I have TB 2.5 (with update) installed on Windows 10. I have noticed that when I attempt to update some of the fighter information for Alberto Sandoval, that the game freezes. I am unable then to exit the game and have to force close it through the Task Manager. Specifically, I was attempting to add Sandoval's Birth City (Pomona) when the game freezes. This happens every time. The same thing happened when I attempted to update Andre Ward's Nickname. This does not apply to all fighters, so far it has just been these two. In addition, I noticed that I can go into the Default Data folder and update the information for fighters in their XML Documents, but I'm unable to do the same in the Saved Games folder that contains my universe. In fact, the data files in there have CD/DVR icon and are associated with some other program. My question is, how can I edit the information for the fighters in my universe without having to deal with this problem? Is there a way to import an updated XML file into my universe or to turn the XML file into a TBDX file?

If you edit the Default Data XML file(s) then go into your universe and Update From Pool the edits should be imported.

The saved games store fighter data in DAT files. They are very touchy when it comes to editing even if you have right tools. I'd avoid messing with them if at all possible.

Thank you! I will do this now!
