Questions From Relative Newbie
I'm a newbie to OOTP and am up to early June in my first season. I have some questions that I hope someone can help me out.
1. When setting up my league in the preseason, re: the Amateur Draft, I didn't disable the game from creating players for the draft and the last thing I want is a bunch of generated players in my game. The system created the players and they're showing up in my draft pool and selecting "Delete all free agents" on the Draft pool screen is not doing the trick. Is there any way at all to get rid of this list of players at this point? 2. Assuming I am stuck, is there a way to add new (real) players to this list? For example I noticed that there is a draft_list.csv in my OOTP > stats file. Can I get these guys in there to go along with the fictional players? 3. How do I import minor league players into the draft pool? They don't have a proper Baseball Reference ID. Thanks in advance. |

Yep, so I did postpone the draft date and figured out how to delete all of the fictitious players. I am now in the process of creating a file with the latest minor leaguers and the major leaguers from 2019, mostly rookies. The one thing I cannot figure out is how to incorporate the file of the 2019 MLB draftees. I'm figuring there is a way to do it since it was included in the update. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
