1 hit batter away from a perfect game..
Looking back at some old screenshots I've taken, I was reminded about this..
Back in 2017, Johnny Cueto almost pitched a perfect game for the Jays. He threw only 86 pitches, striking out 13. His only blemish on the night? A batter hit by a pitch. Ugh. Still impressive as a no-hitter, but man.. What are the closest you guys have come to a perfect game, only to come up short? |

Not a perfecto, but two outs from a no-hitter...in an All-Star game, no less! Combined between several pitchers, but still. Curse you, Hideo Kato!

Didn't want to start a new topic:
Bottom of the 9th 2 outs, 1 batter away from a no-hitter and Wheeler blew it So sad That would of been Wheeler's 2nd no-hitter of his career too! Last edited by Hockey13Playa; 07-09-2014 at 03:39 PM. Reason: Added context |

Telemaco throws a No-No for me, walked the freakin pitcher in the 3rd inning, or he has a perfect game. |
