Pinch Hit for Pitchers Dilema

Ok, perhaps we've all experienced when with bases loaded and with 2 outs, your RP comes up to bat in the 11th inning with hitters on the bench still.

Maddening!

Of course, we head straight to the strategy page and start to increase the "pinch hit for pitchers" option all the way up for situations in the 9th and beyond...but what if we only want this to affect RP, and not SP? If my guy has a no-hitter or a shutout going in the top of the 9th, I don't want him being pinch hit for necessarily!

Thoughts on how to handle this?

the best way to handle what AI does is to simply play the game out yourself then you have ultimate control over any changes to be made

Which in an online league is impossible, and it also does not affect the AI's handling of the situation as they do it all the time too.

You can pull a switch like this defensively I think....move your pitcher to a fielding position, bring in a specialist, then yank the specialist and move the pitcher back, but I don't think you can do this while you're batting.
