Interview with justafan
Here is another local Legend in the modding section
justafan Hall Of Fame status Join Date: Feb 2002 Posts: 3,755 Thanked 4,667x in 2,127 posts No doubt most of us have seen and used his work Follow-up questions and additional questions are welcome please be respectful and don't invade privacy When and what version did you start playing OOTP? I started with OOTP 3 and had every version (except OOTP 12) since. What features of the game do you love most? For me, Facegen is by far my favorite feature. What's your favorite baseball team (any league)? Boston Red Sox How old are you? 55 but I sure don't act it. Where are you originally from? Rhode Island Are you a family man? No What do you do for a living? Electronic Technician (unemployed) Besides OOTP do you have any other hobbies or interest? Computer graphics, guitar, blues harp, baseball, football, beer drinking, woman chasing and many things that I can't afford to do. Your known as a "modder" or "creator" what was the first you made for OOTP and do you still have it? The very first one was a BoSox Skin for OOTP 5. What individual item or project you made for OOTP are you most proud off? I would say my Glossy Logos, just because it's the largest collection out there. I have lost count, but last count was well over 8000. Yikes!!! Somebody stop me. If the OOTP team asked you be a consultant what will you change, add or remove for new version of the game? More Facegen stuff!!! I would also make it much easier to skin the game. What other modder's work do you personally enjoy? In no particular order...silvam14, No Pepper, cephasjames, txranger, eriqjaffe, Pwal, ThatSeventiesGuy, Gern44, fhomess, jcookusm, reds1, illeracula, Gambo, knuckler, ashantewarrier, Bobble, Fyrestorm3, davwms, klavier, Spindel, MUFC1878...just to name a few. Is there any other game or show your currently enjoying you would like to let us know about? No, other than OOTP, I'm not really a gamer. __________________ Last edited by Padreman; 11-13-2013 at 06:43 PM. |

Padreman, I hope you don't mind me saying so, but you should have spaced these out a bit to give each interviewee some time in the limelight by himself.

These were fantastic. For how much I love and use all of their work I know nothing about any of them outside of their avatar, location and love for this game. Great series of interviews.

Wow, cool to be mentioned in the same sentence as those other guys, especially since I don't consider myself in their league. Makes me wish I had more time to make stuff right now, but I just got a new job. I don't see how you guys with full-time jobs find time to make all these great uniforms and such, but I'm glad you do!

Thanks for this, Padreman. I didn't realize you were doing these. We need to figure out a way to make these more visible on the site. There's a plan to put my interviews in the "Articles about OOTP's Games" forum on the site somewhere, and we should do the same with these. Can you drop me a PM with your email address and we'll take it from there?
