Not sure if this is an exploit?
I suspect this is more due to my fantasy league structure. My pro teams play 4 games per week all on the weekend. But my AAA league just use a game-generated schedule.
I had a SP get suspended (and rightly so, he beaned their best hitter after giving up a moonshot to the previous batter) for 9 games. He was going to miss 2 full weeks of games with the big club so I sent him to AAA (he had all 3 options left) and brought up a replacement pitcher to hold the fort. Thing is, all of the AAA games mid-week are counting against his suspension. So I can now bring him back to the big club having only missed 5 games. Seems to me a suspension at level "X" should only count games at that level? |

I don’t think you can send a player down to the minors to avoid a suspension

I wasn't trying to circumvent the suspension, just wanted the 25th spot for another pitcher. I didn't check my Rosters screen, maybe it would have allowed me to bring up a guy without sending the suspended one down. For some reason I don't recall dealing with this before. Nevertheless, something is a tad off. (I had to "manually" suspend him for a few games once he came back up to the majors sans suspension...) |
