Can you do it with IFUNbox? That is how I brought my saved games over.

Sebastian told me that iOOTP 2013 purchased seasons (and earlier) should transfer to MLBM 2015.

pgd44: Have you heard anything else from Sebastian about that? I wonder why it didn't work. I tried it with my iPad and it worked okay. I had purchased the all-seasons pack last year.

JoseB: I wrote the instructions based on an older version of iTunes running on an iMac that I use for managing my music and iOS devices. Unfortunately, it can't update to the latest version of OS X, so I'm stuck on an earlier version of iTunes and didn't realize that had changed. Is there anything comparable in newer versions of iTunes?

Yes. apparently my file was bad. It now works. Sebastian sent me a working file and it transferred over with no issues.
