Guessing he was an International Free Agent one summer.

He was an international free agent who entered the league.

i might be interested in the Cubs.

though it would help if u could add league rules/setup in the OP.
also, what is the primary form of communication?

cheers

I already have been set up with the Cubs. Tigers are gone too. Others, I believe, are still open.

I don't have the list of league rules, but they are pretty consistent with the standard MLB setup. The commish might have a list. Slack is used for communication.

Sorry, been busy, haven't been able to respond. Some people already answered some questions, Watanabe, or The Fonz as we call him in the league, was indeed an International Free Agent. Guy has been a stud.

Rather than list every rule (because I'm lazy) I will just say we play by the usual standard rules. No Rule 5 draft however, and we use StatsLab for our amateur draft, which has worked out well. As far as schedule, leagues, playoffs etc, everything is as Major Leagues. Any specific questions just ask.

Open teams as of now:

Washington
Baltimore
Tampa Bay
Oakland
Philly
Arizona

Great group of owners for one. There is a fairly high level of activity.

The commish, however, seems very disinterested in solving any issues that arise. He basically uses the "oh well, we'll see what happens" type attitude. He is, also, extremely rude in how he expresses anything to the league. Anyone who dare challenge his extreme "importance" is mocked, rather than listened to.

Just know that going in.
