Dugout Wizards, 80s Historical with full minors, has openings

The Dugout Wizards league which began with 1979 season is on the 1986-87 offseason and has three openings.

Dugout Wizards has featured full minor leagues with real minor leaguers since the league started and continues to do this now that this has been implemented in OOTP 17. The draft takes place in June so you can stock your short season & rookie league teams right out of the draft.

We currently have three openings:
Los Angeles Dodgers
Milwaukee Brewers
Pittsburgh Pirates

All three teams are actually pretty good (in fact the Brewers just won the 1986 World Series while on AI control).

You can view the league's HTML reports here

The original thread for the league here on the boards is here and the league website is Sim Sport Leagues

If you have questions or would like to sign up you can contact me here or on the SimSportLeagues site by using the Info link in the main menu.

Thanks!
Joe

I'd be interested in any of the openings. Friends and I had been considering starting a league (ironically starting in 1979), but decided to try and join a league first. Have been playing the game for many years, but not in online leagues. Email is jeffransel@gmail.com

Thanks guys - I've sent emails to both of you. We'll be down to one opening - either the Dodgers or Pirates. I'll update again when I know which one is still available.

Pirates are the last team available. Kirby Puckett is the team's young star and they also have a young Al Leiter coming off a solid rookie season.
