Anyone experience this type of data error?
I've noticed both in this solo league effort, and one of my on-line leagues (not my own) that some data is not linking properly. Here is my most recent example. Any thoughts on this (apart from sending in all the files to support)?
Note: Henri in the write up pitches the game. In the box he plays CF.

I think my first thought would be to do a search in the entire league to see if there are two players by the same name. In the distant past I recall 00TP getting confused by that.

Just off the top my head I'm wondering if this has something to do with Julien Henri being a 2-way player. I notice that the recap correctly reported the pitching performance of the starter Vautier. This feels like a little glitch where due to Henri being the player of the game the recap led off with a reference to his heroics but because he is a 2-way player something in the code defaulted to him being a starting pitcher and therefore used the wording that matched that position.
I suspect it is something as simple as that and nothing that indicates any larger issue with the actual game results. |

What adds to the mystery of data matching up is that a completely different incident (box scores were wrong teams) occurred in an on-line league where I am a GM. The league Commish saw the same 'error' as I did which would point to something apart from just my pc. I also had a box score that would not load in my Julien Henri replay. click on it but I can't see it. So, I'm seeing multiple incidents of data not being portrayed as designed.

I've had a few of those issues in the past myself. Mostly involving my Arizona Fall League (in the WPK) where I tried to view a box score and was instead re-directed to an earlier box score from one of my minor leagues. In my case I assume there is a setting I need to change to fix this but I mostly ignore the AFL anyway so I haven't done anything about it.
Anyway, hope you get this figured out soon. |
