Tactic Familiarity

I was curious, as your team uses a tactic it gets more and more familiar, up to those 5 dots.
If you switch, it goes down.

If you remain on tactic #2, will those 5 dots just disappear to 1 dot?

Can you basically only have one familiar tactic at a time or could you maintain a 3-4 dots on a few and then once you pick it again and use it, you can get it back to 5?

Familiarity with the unused tactic will gradually decrease. It probably isn't possible to maintain a high degree of familiarity with more than a couple of tactics - the main idea is to give you a way to revert back to a previous tactic if a new one doesn't work out, without totally losing all familiarity with the original one.
