Never knew that it charged for a bulk download.

Would love to be able to use these, but after a half hour fooling around on my mac I have know idea how to download the files and open/extract them for use with the game.

Is there a place with step by step instructions and what files you would need in order to do this.

Please lend some help for a mac guy who does not know what he is doing.

I tried to download into a "ballpark" folder within OOTP Developments. The file is not .prk. It's .rar. How do I get this into the OOTP 17 game so I can use it with the different teams. Detailed instruction (SBS) please. Thanks for your efforts. great job.

unzip the .rar. You can get a free unzip program from Cnet. Then you can place it into the ballparks folder if you want. I keep my OOTP folder clear of any downloads, except Facegen. i posted instructions above.

OK...Got the park to display in Pics and Coordinates, ball locations, and 3D Model. Can't seem to get the park profile placed.

When I click on the "Select Ballpark to Edit" it lists all the leagues. How do I get to load the park profile from the folder " Silvam's Park I created?

Thanks.

Or...while in park profile do you click on available actions and manually import data into the game from file into this park?

Use

Great work. I don't know how to get these stadiums into the game to use for the various seasons. Can you please provide DETAILED, STEP-BY-STEP instructions? Not very good at the computer download aspect but I think these stadiums would add a great deal of realism to my play. Thanks.

.rar

I saw the instructions, but it didn't work. I'm sure it's user error. Does the file have to be .prk? Thanks for any further help. Would really like to enhance the experience with these great stadiums.

For the 3D you want the .obj when you select the Load 3D. For the park dimensions & factors you want the .prk file.

I'll try to post detailed instructions, again, tomorrow.

Put yourself in Commish Mode. i tend to stay in it so not sure which options are unavailable without it on.
1. Go to Team menu - edit park. - pics & coordinates.
2. Select file next to 3D model.
3. Navigate to where you save and unzipped the file.
i keep all my Silvam parks in one folder.
4. Select the .obj
5. For park photo select the .jpg
6. for the dimensions select the .prk
7. You can move the fielders around on the park profile page and it should adjust them for in game.

Unzip

Thanks, but I can't seem to find out how to unzip the files. Also, SILVAM has his files in MediaFire as .rar files. How do I get these into .obj. Thanks again.

No. I want to use the appropriate stadium for the appropriate team. Thank you for trying to help me. I believe I am communicating with you in some different areas of this site. Just trying to get the stadiums into the game. The Mediafile files from the originator have .rar extensions. I don't know a lot about computer operations so I'm having trouble unzipping files and getting them to show up in the game when I try to select a file. Thanks for your help and patience. Ant instructions need to be detailed. Please don't assume I know anything.

You guys really need to go to your local library and take a computer course.

After you unzip them inside teh file will be the .obj. .rar is a form of a .zip file.
WinRAR (32-bit) - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com

Dont know if you will need the 32 bit or 64 bit version.

What era are you playing? Modern has the files as part of the game already. Silvam parks are mostly historical. follow the steps i showed above and find teh park for that team. If you want 1980's Oakland Coliseum for the 1985 A's open that file. If you are in 1940 use the Wrigley Field from 1938.

I suggest looking up a free file extractor site.

Could you please tell me (step by step) how to get these files into the OOTP game? The game seems to want .obj files. Don't know how to convert these .rar file to use them. Thanks.

PS - I seem to have worn out one of the members of this forum with this question. I am not a computer kind if guy. Love baseball - hate computers but your tremendous work would add a great deal of realism to the game.

A .rar file is a zipped file (think of it like a backpack, that is closed with stuff inside). You need to unzip (uncompress) it to be able to get at the files inside. A web-search should turn up a freeware program that will open .rar files.

The .obj files you need are inside the .rar
