My biggest quibble is the ball flight after the player decides whether or not to send the runner. The ball flying back to the batter from the outfield is weird.

That weird ball flight issue after asking you to send the runner or not should be fixed in the latest patch.

Hopefully in the next couple years we'll be able to better align the detailed text with the on-field action. It was hard enough to get the pieces to do anything that resembled proper movements in v1, that trying to align the movements with the detailed text I think would have caused me to go into a coma.

I didn't think I'd care about adding graphics but, man, I really like the pawns! I especially like what they hint at as the future of incorporating graphics in the game. I think the goal should be to mimic FM's presentation style, and OOTP took a very solid first step in that direction.

or something like, "Tony Munguia has been stuck on 199 career homers for the past 59 at bats."

That kind of thing...Maybe some sort of connection to story lines. For instance the one where the guy comes into spring training in the best shape of his life. It'd be nice to see the rare comment reminding the player about that story line.
