We're almost there...

Okay, so Matt and I have finished coding. Andreas too. Jorin, despite being sick with the flu, is still battling some Mac-related issues with 3D. Tough warrior indeed! But, he'll manage so that tomorrow all obvious problems no longer exist

OOTP 17 is a big step forward for us. We put a lot of hard work and all our heart into the project. And not just the full-time OOTP Developments employees, but all our volunteer helpers and beta testers as well, like Chuck, Rod, Lukas, Howard, Paul, Randy, and so many more. Without them, the game wouldn't be what it is today. And the same is true for you guys, our trusted community. I really feel (even if it sounds kind of cheesy) that we are a big family and we all have something in common, the love for this beautiful game called baseball.

So, sit back and count down the hours until we drop the Gold Master beta of OOTP on you tomorrow (probably in the afternoon ET). We're looking forward to your feedback, bug reports and funny stories. It's going to be a great ride.

Will I be able to continue a new game i have started with the beta though the official release? Or will i need to start fresh on the 22nd? Thanks

I really wish I didn't have to work tomorrow. Plus, Daredevil is released tomorrow on Netflix. So I probably won't even get to play until Saturday.
