We provide stats. How they are used to create ratings is unknown, at least to me.

Another question... Not sure if Spritze, Bigrod, Lukasberger or someone else could answer it:
Why does OOTP debut the PCL (in 1921), Int'l League (1927), and American Assoc (1932) as Triple A level when it's commonly-accepted that Triple A began with the 1946 season? I see with a few other long-running leagues - the Eastern League (the one that began in 1916), Texas League, Midwest League, SALY - their OOTP history is a consistent one - all years at the same level - whereas in real life their levels changed. So I'm thinking it might've been done to have cleaner league histories in OOTP... Just wondering... |

the names of the levels changed over time as more levels were added. what is now thought of as AAA actually started with an A designation in 1900 or thereabouts.
