No split affiliations so probably either = None or Pick 'em. Give me one to check and I'll find out.

There are some additional guides online not covered in the Lahman list of links: Spalding Baseball Guide for 1934, 1939; Spalding Baseball Record for 1910-22; Spalding National Association Guide for 1903-04, 1908, 1910-12, 1914-17. (These are the ones I've personally downloaded some time back. I've not checked since to see if perhaps additional years have been added for these publications.) For those interested in major league club media guides, a large selection of Baltimore Orioles media guides from 1954-2013 can be downloaded from here, while a selection of Detroit Tigers media guides from 1961-1982 can be found here. If I wanted to re-create the Mexican League from the middle 1960s(make it fictional) where is the best place online for a player register, team info, etc(all info in English)?

I'm curious. Are there logos for all of these minor league teams in the game? If not I probably have most of them and can replicate the rest but it would ne nice to not have to.

Follow-up to post #45.
The link that was provided to the Lahman list of online references is incomplete in some respects. Since there seems to be some interest from others in these references, let me pass along some information on the topic which might be useful. For Reach Guides, the Lahman links do not include issues for odd-numbered years from 1901-07, as well as missing 1913, 1917, and 1919. These issues can in fact be found online at the Smithsonian Libraries. They're part of double-issue PDF files, e.g. 1900-1901 are in the same file, 1902-03 are in the same file, etc. By using that link you'll have a complete run of Reach Guides from 1900-1921. For the 1934 and 1939 Spalding Baseball Guides, the former can be viewed online here, while the latter can be viewed online here. The Spalding National Association Guides can be found here with some searching. You'll notice the same title is listed in the search results multiple times, but if you click on the links it will often take you to a different year's issue from what the link lists. If you go through the search links, and play around a bit with search terms, you will eventually get all the National Association Guides issues listed in post #45. The Spalding Baseball Record guides can be found here with some searching. Scroll down that page and you'll eventually see the links for the Baseball Record. As before, you may have to play around with the search terms a bit and try out all the search result links. (Spalding did indeed put out three different guides, though naturally there was some overlap in the information they contained.) Last edited by Le Grande Orange; 03-03-2016 at 12:44 AM. |

I just hope the logo/uniform progression by year actually WORKS in 17. It worked well in 15 but not 16. 16 you had to manually update every... last... one... of... them... over... and... over...
It was frustrating in the extreme. |

1969 Vancouver Mounties (Montreal & Seattle) 1948-50 Nazareth Barons (co-op) 1985 Gastonia Jets (co-op) Not a complete list. There are a few others, but you only asked for one, so... Also, in 1968 there were a number of teams affiliated with the 1969 expansion teams: Buffalo, Savannah, Burlington, Salisbury, Geneva - Montreal Dubuque, Corning - KC Newark - Seattle How are these handled? |

Minor league exhibition?
Will the historical exhibition mode include all minor league teams? For instance, could I have the 1973 Pawtucket Red Sox play the 2014 New York Yankees?

I think I will continue to have fictional independent minor leagues as well, moving teams when they are in conflict with the 'real' historical minor leagues. Even if it is not quite right in terms of real life, I am so thankful this has been implemented. It is the singular reason I am going to buy the game this year (much like the implementation of independent leagues was my sole motivator for purchase last year). Further improvements in these areas are what is keeping me from taking a year off from buying the game.
