Oh snap, I forgot a major one:

What about importing playoff stats?
Interested too know(records, etc) about the early 1970s Dixie Association? It was a merger between the Texas and Southern Leagues and lasted only one season before things went back to normal.

Also correct awards names for each league and correct name for championship

In relation to the defunct team feature will we be able to "defunct" a team and then re-establish them later? Also keep the history of the team intact while doing so?

MiLB teams will generate history when playing forward, including tracking of relocations etc. No pre-imported history, though. Foreign teams do not have pre-loaded history. No changes to the association mode. Playoff stats automatically import for MLB players.

Another thought that comes to mind has to do with all the new volume of data
that needs to be pushed around, and the fear that the dreaded "OOTP is not responding" message will become even more common as a result. Currently I
run OOTP on a 2 year old XPS14 with an I5 chip. No idea how many cores. Am I
going to need a new machine to juggle all the goodies coming my way?

Yes, a LOT faster. Up to 60%, depending on your machine.

I agree, but probably not for the reasons you think. This is the closest that any baseball game has come to modeling the foul lines of Wrigley Field. Every representation usually has space in the corners between the foul line and the wall, which is simply not there.
