OOTP15 vs OOTP14

I've been playing OOTP15 for a week now. I decided to deviate from my usual pattern and picked the Philadelphia Phillies. Just played a full season, finishing 78-84 and trading Cole Hamels and Jonathan Papelbon for prospects. I also traded Cliff Lee back to the Indians for Trevor Bauer and prospects. Basically, I did everything that I could to begin the long-overdue rebuild of the Phils and along the way came up with a list of "pros" and "cons" for OOTP15 vs OOTP14.

Pros
Improved AI especially when it comes to trading
3-D ballpark (although it seems to run a bit slow, but maybe that's just my laptop)
Retired uniform numbers
Improved, updated rosters
The addition of the Venezuelan and Dominican Summer League teams

Cons
No ratings for players/coaches/GMs. I miss the rankings from "Excellent" to "Average". Maybe I'm in the minority, but that's just me.
Inferior Facegens. Last year they were better than they ever were. This year they have taken a step backwards.
No real team nicknames, although this is a minor criticism.
Way too many trades on the "average" rating. I had to change it to "very low".
Last year it was owners dying and being replaced by Junior. This year it is managers getting fired less than a year during their inaugural season. Granted, the Cubs and Reds stunk right out of the gate and were pretty much done by July, but I doubt that Rick Renteria and Bryan Price would be fired at the All-Star Break in real-life and to be replaced by Jerry Manuel and Rick Renteria, no less.

Thoughts?

For team nicknames, just hit the "randomize nicknames" button about five times. This should solve the problem.

I haven't noticed too many trades using the Average setting. Some teams will go on a crazy selling spree when they're out of the playoff race. Might be a tad too zealous.

9 out of 10 Facegens look good to me. Occasionally, I'll see an African American with too much saturation. Their skin color is almost orange.

Good observations, though, abe.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

For modern league MLB, trade freq on average is actually comparable to real life. That setting will get you anywhere from 50-70 trades per year. This is the same number IRL not counting player for cash deals.

Now those number may be too high for a user's preference.

Not sure what this one means. Their skills are still rated.

He may be looking at the Team Personnel summary(all personnel in organization) page which doesn't show ratings. But yes they are still there on the scout's/coach's page and the list of available personnel.

I also turned trades to very low. Way to many trades for me in April and May. I'm going to turn back to normal in July. And leave on normal during offseason. Maybe even turn up to very high last week of July, and winter meetings.

Bold 1 - Yes there are ratings for the coaches? I don't know what your settings are, but the ratings are there.
Bold 2 - Are you sure there are too many? I'd have to confirm this, but I heard the number of trades on average is actually consistent with the usual number in real life.
