Simming for extended periods of time, no one hires coaches/scouts

I sometimes like to sim in sandbox for ~25 years from the current year to see how things play out and where teams (fictitiously) end up. But atm, with the assistant set to handle everything, no coaches or scouts get hired.

Additionally, and this is sort of nit-picky, but when in sandbox with "cannot get fired" turned on, you still get pulled out of simming to sign a new contract every 4 years (or however long you sign for).

No coaches or scouts get hired by your team, or by any teams at all? If it's the former, that's intended, staff hiring can't be delegated to the assistant.

Nope, just my team - so working as intended. Also, just realized I was maybe doing this incorrectly or inefficiently. I should just not take a team to begin with and let it go for x years, right? That way there'd be staff there and no contract signing stoppages, correct?

Yeah, if you want to sim a large number of years to see what the league looks like afterwards, it's best to just leave yourself unemployed, so all of the teams will hire/re-sign staff instead of one of them expecting a human GM to do it.
