Screen Resolution, Requirements, Tech Probs and Possible Money Back Guarantees
Hi guys,
quick and urgent one on the above mentioned points in the thread title. Huge hockey fan here, so the probs add some massive disappointment to the mix but generally the following: Bought FHM3 directly from OOTB page for 50.00€. I read about and double checked at least the general compatibility requirements, but - if other than that I wouldn't write - the game doesn't work. Main problem seems the effing screen resolution (I mean seriously?) and I get with the opening screen appearing after starting the game the dialogue >>Your screen does not meet minimum requirement of 1200*768. Game will NOT work. chose higher resolution or reduced zoom level and try again.<< No matter how much I increase the screen resolution the dialogue box always appears stating the same and I get stuck already on the very first menu after naming your "game/league" when ticking/unticking hockey leagues around the world. I have a Samsun 940x notebook, windows 8, 4gb ram, 64 bit, which, according to the official OOTB pages should be absolutely sufficient. Any suggestion/help how I can fix this? Thx If there is no fix: can I exchange the product/get money back with my seril number being disactiviated for instance? Thanks again for your hopefully quick reply saludos from the hockey hotbed in Spain NMK |

Can you check what screen resolution your system is set to? Right-click on the desktop, then select Screen Resolution, and tell me what it says beside "Resolution." From what I can tell from Samsung's page, the default resolution for the 940x should be more than enough, but I'm wondering if it's set to something else.
If it's something that can't be fixed, though, we'd definitely give you a refund, no problem there. But it may be something simple like the zoom setting on the desktop being zoomed in below the resolution the game can handle. |
