Some really good players are on the first ballot, you may see some get elected, or some not first ballot people fall off the ballot this time around...
and the results are in... No one is elected, but a lot of players, including those who was on the ballot for some time were dropped. Perhaps this will give focus for next year. |

Brown entered the league as the 2nd overall pick of the Inaugural draft.
Highlights include two no hitters, 7 time NL all star, 2 time pitcher of the year, winner of the 1900 world series, and from 1900-1907 was simply one of the best pitchers in baseball. However in 1907 he tore his ulnar collateral ligament, an in 1908 he ruptured a finger tendon, and quite simply he was not the same, and went from a all star to someone who struggled to stay in the majors. After the fire dumped his contract to the Titans, he was cut, then bounced from team to team. in 1910 he was a AAA all star, but age had caught up to him and when he found himself playing AA ball, he decided to hang up the cleats, and now is enshrined in the Hall of Fame. |
