Open Teams September 2019
Philadelphia Cheesesteaks - Top 6 Farm system, a team of nobodies, lots of financial flexibility and no pressure to win for a while..a great time to take over the team and fulfill your baseball destiny
Orlando Rum Runners - Orlando is on the bubble with some great young players. Their division is highly competitive with similarity placed teams so a playoff run is also in the mix. Redstone Ridge Raptors - Redstone has had some top picks recently so they have a couple of top tier young players however they are still in full rebuild. Crab Apple Cove - A team on the good side of a rebuild with a decent farm and some great young talent. Last in the division now, but for how long? Washington Monuments - Washington is in a lot of pain. They need a great GM to get them back into the top tier team. The good news is that such a challenge is always rewarding! POTD Offseason Started!
Now's a FANTASTIC time to join POTD as FAs are filing next sim (Sunday, 11/10).
We have a number of long time owners (10+ seasons) and a very active Slack workspace that includes an integration to Stats+ for sim alerts and live drafts (https://statsplus.net/potd/). There are several more open teams in addition to those listed above... each has a top 10 minor league system! San Jose Cuervo: Better ML roster than last season's record would suggest with several promising prospects ready to graduate from AAA. Richmond Ravens: Finished above .500 in a very evenly matched division. Bonus: Superstar-in-waiting Stu McMillan ready to take over RF duties for the next decade. St. Paul Bearers: Another sleeping giant with most of its ML lineup just entering its prime (including MVP candidate Graham McCoy), and several more future regulars ready to join the young nucleus from AAA. Looking forward to competing with you!!!
