Smile Season 5 & Happy New Year!

Okay, our servers are currently preparing the leagues for season #5! Congratulations to everyone who made it to the Perfect Leagues! By the way, the current OOTP version has a display bug, the Perfect Leagues are not shown in the universe screen. We will fix this with the next update next week

The new league files will be downloadable very soon. Good luck everyone, and a Happy New Year!!

Markus & the entire OOTP Team

Good god, the difference between gold and diamond is brutal. I was in the WS last season, but this one I don't see how I can avoid losing 100 games.

Happy New Year!

Quick question about promotion. It looks like 2 teams are going from Diamond to perfect. How are those teams chosen? Is it the two World Series teams, or two teams with the highest winning percentage?

That isn't accurate. A lot more then two teams were advanced to perfect... I was a wildcard team and was promoted to perfect....

The 2 teams going from Diamond to perfect will be the 2 WS competitors.
The 6 teams going from Gold to Diamond will be the final 4 teams (LCS competitors), plus the top 2 losers from the Division series (so of those 4 losers, the 2 with the best regular season records).
The 8 teams promoting in silver/bronze are the 8 teams that make it through to the division series (so the playoff teams except the wildcard losers). Makes those wildcard games even more important!

Interesting now that leagues have filled it will be more challenging to move up. However, what about the incomplete leagues with less than 30 teams? And for those remaining, will the competition be the same or will teams moves laterally within a level?

Well, my trip to the Perfect Leagues will probably be short lived. 9-28 to start is not good! Only 3 diamond and 10 gold players on my team but now the cream of the crop is crushing me. These teams are loaded with Perfect and Diamond. Should be a challenge just to stay here!
