College feeders w/ automatic draft pick signing

I have a 16-team fictional league. According to the classic formula, that would require ~67 feeders.

I'd like to add a huge college feeder league, but I want players to be able to leave for the draft at any age between 18 and 22. Also, my fictional league does not require signing draftees, so all draftees are automatically added to the organization which drafted them. Ideally, I'd like to have a nice mix of 18,19, 20, 21, and 22 year olds in the draft, but I'm worried that the automatic-signing rule would lead to way more young players than older ones.

Also, I don't really mind if OOTP has to create some 20-year old college players, for example, to fill a void left by too many other players leaving for the draft.

Is this something that's possible?

I believe any player worth signing would likely end up professional after 1 year. Youd likely get a system close to the NBA where any good player does 1 and done then a few players end up being late bloomers and get picked after year 1 in the feeder.
If you set it to create players older than the minimum draft age. You'll still get one and done they'll just be older. That may or may not be what you want I suggest setting up and running a few quick test seasons first.

Yeah, I figured something like that might happen. Do you think that a similar problem would occur if I added both HS and college feeders?

Adding a HS league and diversifying player origins in that way you probably get something like current baseball draft pools.

Thanks! Glad to hear the automatic signing thing won't be an issue. Do you have any idea what a good HS/college split is, in terms of numbers of teams?
