Amazing Rookie HR record

This guy hit 78 home runs as a ROOKIE. and no its not the record that falls to the Yankees Antonio Silva in 2051 with the record setting 83 HRs. I also have a few strikeout records that are amazing and in 2051 Rockies has a pitcher get 21 strikeouts in one game and he got 26 of the 27 outs

Anyone else have amazing records like this ???

Don't forget the overall record at the moment is 83 and set by the Yankees Antonio Silvia and he also got 199 RBIs too for the Yanks. I kept watching him each game in September to see how he was doing.

Gin-fan Sung was the 2023 AL ROTY with 61 HR and 254 RBI. 254 is the record by a long shot. Pretty amazing since he is an unedited player (other then fg) in a league with many great edited players.

~250hits with good power will do that for sure...

in past years, my leagues have 1-2 players that can get to ~60hr in a season -- i've made some super players in teh paste that could get ~250-300RBI and only hit ~40-50some HR.

the max value you see is 100% about your LT/LTM. but, relatively speaking it's very similar in each league -- e.g. the 2 studs above may not put up the same counting numbers, but they're ops+ and war will be similar because it will be relatively the same %-above average - give or take.

regardlesss, it took extreme talent that will translate just as "great" in other leagues, even if not as high of, for example, individual player hr totals.

since it's so infrequent you know it's high-talent and not just a statistical environement that's elevated compared to the normal perceptions of RL MLB.

If only barry bonds played for the rockies. He wouldve hit 100 homers. Anyone disagree?

yes bonds would have hit 100 HRs with his drug issue in Denver but the issue would also be would he try extra hard or be loose

That team was stacked. While several of these players are edited, they are edited with stats from prior PC games.

Edgeworth played 168 games in 1 season and was promoted from A ball straight to MLB? Is he on your team?

Here is the update on this player. In his rookie year they won the World Series and this season of which just ended they missed the playoffs for wild card by 1 game.
