So I thought I'd help everyone out and just give you the list of nicknames so you can easily choose the ones that offend you personally. So here you go guys, surely some of you can find ways to be offended by many of these, Alcoholic? Mentally challenged? Animal rights? Racist? Sexual innuendo? Gun control advocate? And many,many more.There is an offensive nickname for everyone! Grand Wizard is a pretty strange nickname to put in the nicknames file, considering there aren't actually any former baseball players I can find who went by it. Like, KKK connotations aside, it's just a legitimately odd nickname.

Sorry this accomplishes nothing. Just because one does not get offended great, my hats off to you but dine belittle those who do get offended. Everyone's Conscience is different and should not be beaten down but respected. That's what's wrong in the world. If people are a little more sensitive to something and we are not rather than respect them and by kind to just let them be we attack or put them down. Just let it go and let them be. On the other hand one is more easily offended by something we don't need to make a campaign about you. If we personally don't like something we have the ability to erase it. There have to a piece peaceable way to handle these issues. Not to out everything that offends us out there and make an issue of it everytime and those that are not offended as easy not to belittle those that are

This was not in response to a deluge of fanciful and ridiculous threads. There were two threads launched in the last day about offensive nicknames which should be removed-- one with strong ties to the KKK, and one which is a racial epithet for a black man.

Depending on the colour of your skin, your experience with racism may vary. The descendants of a lynching victim or those who are still subject to racial violence likely don't feel as flippant as you do towards the 'Grand Wizard' nickname or the sort of racial epithet that they hear too often.

Removing two racially charged nicknames from a list of 1163-- yes, I counted-- is the textbook definition of "reasonable accommodation." These are your fellow citizens. These are your people-- they deserve to be treated with respect for their fundamental human dignity, rather than be dismissed with contempt as 'overly sensitive' and not worth having their position considered with any sort of concern or serious consideration.
