What's the difference between Only Display Inactive Cards and Hide Active Cards?

You answered your own question. There are three categories: Active Roster, Reserve Roster, Inactive. It is unfortunate that the first and third categories are opposites, when not every card falls into one or the other. So:

Only Display Inactive Cards - No active or reserve, only inactive
Hide Active Cards - No active, only reserve or inactive

This is my current opponent in a 1500 cap tournament. Not sure how this team passed the sanity check.

I think there’s a known issue where rosters can be changed after the initial submission, so some are taking advantage by submitting a roster that meets the tournament requirements, and then changing it afterwards. Pretty sure the devs are working to address.

Might be that I don't understand how it's calculated but why is the cap so high after only 5 players have been activated ? Do they count double or triple because they are diamond cards ?

Empty roster spots each count as 40 points, which is the minimum rating that could be used to fill those spots with real cards. 20*40 + 484 = 1284.

This needs to be explained clearly in the text, or forbidden by sanity checks.

If you open a tournament, and then choose MAIN and then Perfect Team Universe, the game crashes. I'm on macOS 10.14.6.

I'm in the Daily Silver Bo7 tournament #2220001, which uses 1950 settings. I have my rotation strategy set to "Always use highest rested" and my #1 SP was 100% rested after just the third game (i.e., two days off), but my #4 SP started the fourth game instead of my fully rested #1 SP. Does the "Always use highest rested" setting work in old-time tournaments with much faster SP recovery time? Is the displayed rest status incorrect? What happened?

Dailies in general seem to be highly unpopular right now. How about a fourth tournament slot for everybody but it can ONLY be used for dailies or weeklies?

I'm going to try re-naming these files in the tournament_rosters folder and see if that helps me.

I was playing a Best of 3 tournament and loaded the proper roster, then when I checked on it, the pitching rotation had been reduced to 3 probably because I entered a DoD with the same roster restriction (i.e. both were opens). So I quickly inserted one of my starters from the bullpen, then as I checked my other tournaments, that same emergency starter had been inserted into all my rotations. So, I took him out where he wasn't needed, went back to the Best of 3 where I made the initial change and sure enough he was gone from the starting rotation there too. But by this time the game had been played with a short-rested pitcher.

There is room for 6 slots on the entry page:
2 can be used for anything
1 for 32 player
1 for 64 player
1 for 128 player
1 for 256 player although I cannot imagine 256 ever filling.

My Broncos won tournament #1320000 and the prize was 1500 PP, but the 1500 PP never went to my account.

Just wanted to pop in to compliment Markus and the development team. I realize this is an open beta and it should be functional due to all the work that's gone on already, but I haven't run into any huge issues with Tournaments. No lag. The sims have been consistent. The patch hasn't messed up my "regular mode" PT. Functionality has been great. The system is mostly intuitive (as intuitive as the beta version of a brand new feature can ever be expected to be). Maybe the most important part is...this is actually more fun and better than I thought it would be. I wasn't even one of the most excited OOTP'ers about this feature, but I like it. What more can you want?

Fixing the part about how editing tourney roster #2 changes pre-existing tourney roster #1 and maybe making some of the tournament tree stuff a bit prettier is really all I can come up with for bugs/fixes. Most of the other stuff is more a matter of preference.

I dont think this is true, just certain formats of dailies are unpopular. Ive seen some that are full 8 hours before they even start

Yep, completely agree. I can easily work around the roster overwriting by just staying in different types. There have been no other problems at all for me playing. Just a few housekeeping things to clean up in terms of formats available and reward structure once feedback comes in but that is to be expected.

The team did an incredible job with them. Worth the wait.

While messing around with tournaments my active roster on the main team got affected. I've been using Gehringer and Parrish on my tournament teams, now they've been moved onto my active roster as well. I think I'm done with beta testing. Maybe, I shouldn't have changed names in the tournament-roster folder.

Edit: When I entered a best of 3 16 man, for the first time the game gave me the error "failed sanity check" and did not load any roster. So I imported one, and it also imported onto my active roster.

Edit #2: I'm glad I was importing a gold only roster!

Part of the thing here is that you can't enter a tournament with several teams under the same licence. You need 256 individual players (or: licences) to commit one of their slots here.

I did win a prize after the above in tournament#1210004 and the PP were properly applied, so it seems to be just this one tournament.
