Logo help

I run a fictional league and I have been rolling with a logo I made. As you can see it looks like something for a waste disposal company rather than a reputable online league haha. If anyone could help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated. I seem to lack the talent for it since i have spent many hours designing logos that look eerily similar..The league name is the Intercontinental Baseball Federation. Thanks Guys!!

Apologies for hi jacking the thread.
But, Txranger could you plz make logos like that for a league named the "Maverick Baseball League".
It's shortened name for is "MBL" as an abbreviation if that helps too.
