Spritze database not working?

I downloaded the OOTP14 Spritze database with all major and minor league players at 18 for OOTP15, and it worked when importing historical players, but for some reason if I started a historical game the inaugural draft would have 0 players. Is there any reason for this?

Yes.

The first year all the players are already free agents. Just schedule a free agent draft and there you are and there you go. Hold the mayo.

I appreciate the response, Spritze, but nothing seemed to change--the players just simply aren't in the game. Again, if I try to import historical players, it works just fine, and actually if I check import-historical-rookies in a fictional league it works fine, and if I start a league without random-debut checked it works fine.

I know these are really specific circumstances and I shouldn't be complaining, but I want to make a random-debut historical league and it doesn't seem to work. It's probably an issue on my end. I don't know.

If you installed one of the patches AFTER you downloaded Spritze's DB, it overwrote it in the stats folder. It never did that before, and I had to manually add A LOT of players when I found out a season later.

For future reference, for the database folder and stats folder if you use mods, rename the folders OLDdatabase and OLDstats, install the update, then cut and paste the OLD files into the new folders
