Historical Sims and accuracy...

I replay 1 season at a time. I reported very solid numbers in a Sixties replay a while back. I've since replayed 1960, '61 and '62 and the stats are really solid.

I've just finished a 1920 replay and am most pleased at the combined AL & NL numbers:
Real: .276 bave/ 3,609 2b/ 1,265 3b/ 630 hr/ 1,720 sb/ 1,563 cs/ 6,820 bb/ 7,247 k/ .335 ob%/ .372 slg%/ 10,761 runs/ 3.46 era/ 1,396 cg/ 147 sv/ 551 hbp/ 50 bk/ 416 wp/ 1,967 dp

Repl: .277 bave/ 3,670 2b/ 1,265 3b/ 658 hr/ 1,857 sb/ 1,528 cs/ 6,816bb/ 7,348 k/ .332 ob%/ .341 slg%/ 10,741 runs/ 3.55 era/ 1,533 cg/ 116 sv/ 617 hpb/ 69 bk/ 362 wp/ 1,917 dp

BTW- I didn't do any manager tweaking of the teams (play in commish mode) before commencing with the 1920 replay. OOTP is an amazing game, and this comes from a long time baseball sim junkie that played mostly strat and replay. Not sure what drives the game engine, but it is very strong!!
