Colorado craziness

In an historical league in the year 2000, Ellis Burks hit .452 for the Rockies with 291 hits in over 600 ABs, 56 HR, and 176 RBI. Teammate Andres Galarraga also slammed 56 HR but with 221 RBI. Burks was named NL MVP.

The Rockies scored over 1200 runs on the season, finishing 86-76 but missing the playoffs. One interesting note was that after a string of 3-2 type games, the Dodgers beat them 43-6.

I manage Seattle in the AL with the AI doing everything except lineups and rotation on a month by month basis. Injuries are off and fatigue on high to partially compensate. All settings are at default or close to it.

Amazing what that thin air will do.

Joe camel is an edited player but had Mark McGwires stats from 1997 as his current & potential. What is shown is the AI's rescout, I guess.
League was started in 1999 on OOTP 12.

I thought the Rockies several years ago decided to store baseballs in a machine called a Humidore which adds moisture to them to compensate for the thin air. Is this something accounted for in the game?
