Is there a way to create custom alerts that would pause simulation and alert you? Specifically any time you have a job offer even if it is from a league below the one that you currently manage? i'd also like to have one every time a player is placed on waivers.

As always, thank you in advance!

On your manager settings page, do you have the box checked next to "Exit Auto Play" when you receive a personal message?

Then your game should be stopping when you receive personal messages, such as job offers.

Old-school OOTP used to give the option to pause the sim for no-hitters in progress and other major statistical milestones.

Pausing for players added to the waiver wire is a big thing for me, because how else are you supposed to find them? Does anybody honestly check the waiver wire every single day?

To each his own, but there has to be an easier way than that. Everybody has a different play style. Some people play every single one of the regular season games and some people only play their playoff games or championship games.

I find going to the waiver list to be a pain - mostly because you first have to click "Transactions", then spend a few seconds loading all of the free agents in your game, then go and click into the Waiver Wire from there.

Why not bookmark?

Takes less than 1 sec and I don't go direct.

This

All my most commonly (frequently) visited pages/reports are bookmarked. Well, most of them since we don't have limitless bookmarks. One hand on the mouse and the other handy to the keyboard to press a shortcut key.

It has been requested to allow more bookmarks, hopefully that happens.

The easier way is under your manager menu --> "Manager & GM actions" --> "Check the Waiver Wire."

Just check the wire when you check news and mail.
