What do you think?
Wonder what y'all think?
I was hoping they would transfer the thread from 19 this this forum. If Dukie doesn't buy 20, that doesn't mean I want to stop reading about his league. Vbrox has his Rangers and Astros threads. Then again, maybe others want this to be strictly 20 related. What do you think? |

It's kind of weird as I'm sure I've always seen that area and the MOD section moved every years from the previous to the new version... maybe they just forgot?

That very well could be it. I didn't want to ask them to do so and have everyone else say they felt otherwise.

I think the historical leagues warrant being moved to the new version's forum too. But in any case I see no reason that one can't post about their historical leagues playing in 19 or even 18 and earlier here.
This is not a technical or bugs oriented forum, but one to follow long-standing, ongoing historical leagues. So why not? We can encourage people to move their posts here, but I agree that OOTP should move it as it always has. This has been a busy day for them though, so no problem that it did not happen yet. The site was not even accessilble to me around 4 pm Europe time (noon EST in the US). But in a few days if it doesn't happen let's ask for it. |

Was wondering about my fictional simulation on 19. It would be much better to have the complete thread in the most active version (20). The current simulation has the capability of spanning another version beyond even 20.

Maybe OOTP Leagues and Replays should be separate from all the other version related discussions. I hate looking at the mods section and seeing threads relating to OOTP14 or 15, or threads that haven't had additional comments in a long time, or search for the "perfect" set up, and find that it was for a older version of the game, that doesn't apply to the current version. I think that the XX area should be for and about XX only. I like clear separation of versions. The thread category title says it all (to me)

APBA is still the king of dice baseball. Simple & fun.

I plan on getting OOTP 20 on Thursday.
However, I will be testing it outand waiting for a couple of patches before moving my Rangers and Astros to 20. I am not sure how one goes about moving a thread from a 19 to a 20 forum. Maybe I'll just start a new thread when I move my stuff to 20 with a link to the old thread. Sent from my LG-M150 using Tapatalk |
