Summit Baseball League (SBL) is recruiting new players!

One of the longest running OOTP online leagues is currently recruiting. SBL is a great group of guys who love baseball and love competing against one another.

We offer an MLB type of setup with a twist. Each year the divisions shuffle based on the last three years win count. This means the league can resemble a european soccer league where teams will switch from division to division every couple years. This seems crazy but what this lets us do is it lets teams rebuild faster and it keeps one team from running away with a division by June. This ensures competitiveness and allows you to build your budget faster.

What else do we offer? We have switched our site to S+, using the live sim feature as well as the draft tools. This is a wonderful website that has improved our league immensely.

The best part of the league are our dedicated co-commissioners. They have the integrity of the league foremost in everything that they do. You can't go wrong with two guys who just want it to be fun. And it is.

Players: We're in the 2033 season so there are fantasy players filling the ranks in addition to the real and old MLB players still around.

Sim Schedule: Varies but generally 2 days on - 1 day leading up to the playoffs, and every day in the offseason.
League Time Per Sim: 7 Days, varies in off season.
First Season: 2013
Current Season: 2033
Special Rules & Settings: Ratings 20-80 with 20-80 Overall. Scouts on with normal accuracy, full coaches, DH for both leagues. Divisional alignment each season based on 3 seasons of past records to keep things competitive. Player Morale was turned back on after being off for a few seasons with the conversion to OOTP 18 and is currently being evaluated.

The San Francisco Giants have become available. Our long time SF GM decided he was looking for a new challenge in our league and took a job with another team.

The Giants are coming off a 91 win season and are primed to have another solid season.
