Rajai Davis comes to mind. Juan Pierre, Carl Crawford.

Alex Sanchez stole 52 bases one year and was an absolutely terrible defensive outfielder - way below average every season he played in every defensive metric, including Range Runs. |

In the 2000s, Carl Crawford had the third highest UZR total in all of baseball at any position, behind only Adrian Beltre and Andruw Jones, and ahead of Scott Rolen, Ichiro, Chase Utley, and, well, everyone else. His Range Run total is second highest for the decade, behind only Beltre (and just ahead of Andruw Jones). Crawford's been one of the best defenders in baseball in our generation, so I don't think he belongs in this discussion.

Roger Cedeno, incredibly fast, putrid range.

good examples guys...an there SHOULD be exceptions in every case. I am just glad there is in fact some correlation. Just out of curiosity...how do you guys get info like that about OOTP? Do you have a pipeline to Markus?
