Not enough skaters to create lineup
In my historical games, I often get a prompt that states that there are not enough skaters to create a lineup. This occurs due to a number of skaters being injured at a time.
In order to fix this, I have tried to call players up from my minor league team but it doesn't seem to register that there are enough skaters (even though the lines are completely filled out already). In order to fix it, I am forced to sign multiple players from free agency - just signing one to fill the gap doesn't often work, and I find myself signing three or four half-star players - even though none of them wind up inserted into the lineup when I use "assistant create lines". I have been able to get through it every time with this method but it is quite annoying. I'm worried that in future seasons, I won't be able to afford these signings and thus not able to continue (without trading away a player or switching a goalie to a skating position). This is more of a pesty issue than a gamebreaking one but I thought I should bring it up. I think I've seen this issue reported on FHM5, but thought I should bring it to the devs' attention again. Thank you for all your hard work, I love the game! |

Which season is that happening in? There were a couple of roster rules issues in the early years that I fixed that could cause something like this, I'm wondering if I missed some others.
