"Shop Player" functionality enhancement
When shopping a player currently (which, I know I keep saying this, but great work on the new feature) if there is no interest...nothing happens.
From a UX standpoint, I think the below should occur: #1. User shops a player #2. Shop function executes #3. If response is null, send a generic email response indicating no offers have been received for the shopped player I think it's a very minor enhancement that could make the feature more user friendly. |

When we added the future, it was kind of a test and only because it worked right away we decided to keep it in the game. But time was to short to also create the corresponding screen from OOTP, so we went with the PM route to start with. I hope we find time after release to add the screen from OOTP in as I think it is a great addition to the feature.

Yes! Glad you guys will further enhance it in the future. The OOTP screen version will be epic! Love the game so far!

How do you shop a player? The option is always greyed out for all of my team's players.

What league are you playing in? If it doesn't allow trading, or you're past the trading deadline, it won't be available.

I started a historical in 1972, when I read the offers the players are mostly listed as 1973 draft picks (the occasional 1974 thrown in) even though I am still in October of 1972. I went to the player history to see it listed the draft but the only information is the player being promoted or sent down. At first I thought if the player was drafted in 72, it is considered the 72-73 season but that doesn't account for the 1974's (Barry Wilcox, Chuck Lefly)
really minor thing but I thought I'd point it out. |

I think you're reading the email wrong, Ed - it's not "Barry Wilcox, the 9th round draft pick (Vancouver), 1974", it's Barry Wilcox *and* Vancouver's 9th round draft pick in 1974. Just a quirk of the way the trade contents are formatted when there are exactly two parts.

LOL. I guess I have to get back to reading basics although every time I shopped a player this morning it would mean every GM would be offering me a player and pick. Can’t believe A guy like Randy Legge was worth a player and a pick |

It's a little generous right now with the shopped offers - although a lot of the picks it offers in historical are very low-round ones, so next to worthless.

Any chance you can set the feature so that we can specify what we want in return? The offers I have received have been mediocre at best. I shopped Mark Scheifele and was getting offers of much worse players and 3rd round picks at best.
