Major League Baseball Dreams is ready for a new season

You might think you want a brand new league; someplace that you can start fresh and build out your dream franchise from the beginning. It's always a great idea, until halfway through the first season when 2/3 of the GMs have started ghosting the league when their brilliant draft plans didn't pan out quite as well as they'd liked. The league limps along for another season half full of AI-run teams, and then folds.

Not Major League Baseball Dreams. 13+ years of real-life running with a core group of GMs that have been there from the beginning and 3/4 of the league in at least their 5th season. We've got great rivalries, both meta and in-game, heroes (definitely me), and villains. It's a great league to settle down into and build for the long haul. We're finally making the transition to OOTP 22.

Originally established in 2006 with current MLB rosters, we're just about to start 2078 so all of those MLB stars are long gone, replaced with our own All Stars and gritty dogs. It's a well balanced league with multiple teams competitive until the final sim every year.

We sim an in-game week every Sunday/Monday/Wednesday/Friday, with the weekday sims being broadcast live via StatsPlus to our Slack server.

We're a welcoming group, generally a bit more on the mature side although we've had GMs as young as high school age. We update every other OOTP revision.

# of Teams: The 30 MLB teams , with full minor leagues, including a Winter Development League (AA)
Sim Schedule: during season - M, W, F, Su, weekdays around 4:30pm or 6pm, weekends around 6PM . Offseason, we'll run almost every day or as close to as we can manage, given real life.
League Time Per Sim: 7 Days, varies in off season, but generally around 2 weeks (-ish), 1 week early in free agency
First Season: 2006 (game time and real life time)
Current Season: 2077 offseason
Special Rules & Settings: no coaches or scouts, we've implemented the new CBA. We don't use the amateur signing bonus having tried it and found it was more hassle than fun (sorry Markus).
