and Andy Pafko (.383, 1 HR, 9 RBIs). In the American League its a battle between Philadelphia and Detroit. Multiple pitchers have flirted with a no hitter, 1 hit involved. The season
is just itching for one.

Detroit and Brooklyn look to cement themselves in a showdown for the end of the season at the World Series. But other teams are looking to spoil that feeling. The Tigers rolled on
a 21-8 July to increase their lead over the Athletics while the Dodgers ran with a 18-10. The Cubs went up the standings to be within a shot of the top spot. The Washington Senators
team maybe has woken up and is no longer the worst team in the league. The Giants has moved to that specification as they have 6 key players injured.

Almost at the end of the season with the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Detroit Tigers on top of their respective leagues. Both are leading by sizable margins and with 2 teams looking
to play better ball. The Senators managed to climb out of the cellar for a moment. Rookie Jackie Robinson is batting .360 and he is eyeing multiple award at the season's end.
