Player Aging

I'm using Rolen's 2006 rosters and I have the following settings:

Batter Aging: .900
Batter Dev: .700
Pitcher Aging: 4.000
Pitcher Dev: 3.000

Is this what everyone else is using? I thought this was what people are using. I'm finding that a lot of my guys are crapping out around age 30. Like Ortiz is batting .174 with no home runs so far in my 2007 season. Nobody even wants Tejada. Most pitchers over 30 aren't good at all in my game. But the young guys are awesome. Low 20's seems to be where all the hot pitchers are at. Garza won Cy young in 2006. Is anyone else seeing this or am I smoking something?
