Any recent update on the status of OOTP Go?

I tend to agree yet … Patience is a virtue... I suspect it would be well received on both counts (ootp GO and FOF)

It will be released once it's ready, which will be some time after OOTP 21 We are workin on it all the time and it is making good progress. Most screens are converted (from the desktop version) and full PT support already works. As I mentioned before somewhere, this project is unlike MLB Manager, which actually was based on OOTP 11 code. OOTP Go shares the exact same code as OOTP 21, so it is essentially a complete rewrite of the mobile game, we need to convert each single screen that we want in the mobile version into two new layouts, phone and tablet. That's a ****load of work

Hopefully it will be soon after OOTP as I won't be getting the new version of OOTP until the OOTP GO version is available.

Can you tell us if the 3D simulation will also be on OOTP Go?

I'm really looking forward to this. I'm still kind of new to OOTP Baseball. I bought both OOTP 19 and OOTP 20. There's a lot to take in at first, but I stuck to quick start MLB teams the first year with OOTP 19. Last year, I experimented with a fictional team. I have enjoyed my experience with OOTP so far, but I just don't spend a lot of time sitting at my desktop Mac at home.

It's pretty exciting to think about having OOTP on an iPad and being able to take the game with me when I travel or spend some time with it on a lunch break at work. Even at home, I can see my play time increasing.

At a minimum I would imagine it will have the simulation abilities as previous versions. It does sound like they are trying to create something that is closer to the depth of OOTP pc version.

I wasn't sure i was hearing conflicting things. I'm hoping it's going to be more than just perfect team as i don't play it.

Yeah, I would love something that at least allows me to play games out on the go even if it lacks some of the league creation, off-season, etc features of OOTP 21. If I can't use OOTP Go to play my fictional league and go back and forth with my save between platforms, I won't really have any use for it.

It would be great if aside from PT, you could also play out your saved game on the mobile app too .. of course, with less features, but still .. to be able to sim a few games on my save on the phone, and then play out some games on my laptop .. crossing my fingers though it might be unlikely ..
