Play by play slow on some plays

I’ve been playing OOTO for years but just got 20. Playing my first game. I have Play by play set to fast. It goes fine for most plays, but if there is a play that involves a throw it slows WAY down. Strike outs, fly outs, and home runs have no issues. Ground outs, runners tagging, etc slows WAY down. Like it takes 45 seconds to get through the play. Is this a known issue? A search didn’t turn up anything.

Just hit a double and it went fine. Also had a easy grounder that went fine It might be slowing down when it needs to determine if a runner is safe or out (if a play at a base is close).

As far as I know the replay happens after the play has been determined. OOTP determines the play and then it shows the play by play for that result.If I am wrong then I stand corrected.
