Playoff Roster Issue

Ok, so here is my dilemma. I'm the Tigers and we are in the middle of the ALCS. Adam Dunn ran over my starting catcher, Alex Avila, breaking his foot. I removed Avila from my playoff roster because he's out for the rest of the season. Only problem is that it keeps saying I can't replace him because roster moves are not eligible during the middle of a playoff series. I know this rule, and if a player does get hurt, you CAN replace him, he's just not eligible to play in that series or the next. The guy I'm trying to put on my roster was in my organization all year too. What can I do to get around this and add my third string catcher to replace Avila?
