baseball card question - All Star and HOF graphics
I see there are All-Star and HOF graphics that I'm guessing can be added to a baseball card since they are in the card template folder...but can't figure out how to do it? any one play with this yet?

i went in to an old solo league and manually inducted a player into the HoF. The baseball card was automatically added. And the graphic for the hall of fame (the trophy) was already on the card.
i haven't checked an all star, but i'm guessing it works the same way. One nice feature is if you click open, it will open the baseball card in your graphics program (gimp, photoshop, print shop pro, etc) and you can make additional changes. |

Hmm. must be because I'm trying to create cards for people in my HOF from my OOTPX converted league. Oh well. I suppose I can just kick them out and re-induct. LOL

Just create whatever image you'd like for the hof logo and name it hof_symbol.png.Then go to your templates\images folder and make a backup of the original hof_symbol.png and replace the original with your new one. If your handy with changing xml you can change the name of the symbol to use there. If you create one larger than the original hof_symbol.png, then you'll need to edit the xml file to get it to show where you want and at what size you want. I'm pretty sure there are some great additions coming to the bb card feature shortly.

Bah. that's what I get for posting this stuff while I'm at work. If I just slowed down and thought about it, I would have come to the same conclusion. Sorry all. Wish I spent as much time thinking about this as I do with issues I run into at work!

Goofed around with this a bit tongiht
had to shrink the hall logo down a bit and edit the xml to lower it on the vertical axis...but I like this much more than the trophy.

Here's the template, but be be sure to check out the MODS forum for a "card" design that resembles the HOF plaques. those look awesome.
